Howdy, everyone. So the long and short of this post is more or less going to be, "I'm thinking of making a timeline, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ME," but I'd still like a bit of input.

So, imagine a scenario in which, for whatever reason, Clinton bows out of the running in 2016. With the electoral titan out of the question, who runs? Does Sanders still launch his campaign, or does Warren take the plunge and take up the banner of the Left instead? Do Gillibrand or, God help us, Cuomo jump in? Does Clinton's absence, in fact, affect the Republican primary at all?

More than that, though: would anyone here be at all interested in reading a timeline along these lines? Tongue

I'd be interested, absolutely. I was considering starting a timeline myself.

This is the list of people I suspect would run:

- VP Joe Biden
- Senator Bernie Sanders
- Governor Martin O'Malley
- Former Senator Jim Webb
- Former Governor Lincoln Chafee (though maybe not, his campaign seemed to be an anti-Clinton campaign)
- Governor Andrew Cuomo
- Governor John Hickenlooper
- Congressman Luis Guiterrez

Warren may think about it but ultimately I don't think she does. Same with Gillibrand and Klobuchar.

Emanuel may have ran, despite his low approval ratings. Emanuel is a fighter. That's why he did not resign.

Well, after tonight's bloodbath, I'm feeling considerably more committed to this premise. Anyone feel like contributing/helping Procrastinator McGoo here write it?
