I think he'd have an easier time with Trump.  Cruz would energize the Evangelical base to come out and destroy the "evil socialist."

No chance against either. Running against a self-described socialist who is promising to raise taxes on everyone would be a cake walk for any Republican nominee, especially when said socialist is a crotchety old man who repeats himself.

Honestly, isn't the evangelical vote maxed out? I'm sure voter turnout among evangelicals is pretty high and they mostly vote Republican anyway.

Trump. I think Cruz would be a dangerous scenario for us Dems if Sanders is our nominee because Cruz would beat him badly in debates
