Not particularly. I feel that many of the world's leaders take advantage of us. I like a President who will tell Israel or the NATO powers that we won't always have their back until we start getting something in return. The post World War II order isn't working anymore.

Of course. America is not a planet.

I don't care if not all of them like us, though.

Yes of course, but I won't let the opinions of other countries dictate how I vote. Americans know better about what's better for America. Still, that doesn't mean I have no regard for our image abroad.

Generally, yes. I like the rest of the world to like us. Makes protecting them easier.

Why should we protect the rest of the world and who are they being protected from? The enemies that we antagonized?

Clark supports a global US, Sanchez. He's a big supporter of globalism.

Yes, but why? Why do people support that? Other than the usual "that's just how it's always been."

Yes, I do. I care what our allies think of us, along with NATO and the EU etc...

However, I do not give a damn about how rogue nations view us (Iran, N. Korea, etc...)

Haha, no. I get that the rest of the world does not agree with our government:

Europe wants us to be more socialist
The second world (Russia, China) wants us to withdraw militarily from certain parts of the world so they can take over
Southwest Asia wants us to either fight all their wars for them or cease to exist, depending on the country

Why should I care what the rest of the world thinks? We're not like the rest of the world. We don't want to be like the rest of the world.

They don't have to live here, and because they don't live here, they don't understand our culture or what it means to be American.

I do care about our allies and trade partners trusting us to keep our word. That's about it.

Yes to a point, but it's not generally at the top of my concerns when I decide how to vote, or what candidates to support.

On a totally different subject, what does (((this thing))) mean? The guy who I interned for in 2012 had that in his Twitter username.

Implying a Jewish connection, as I recently found out? Example being "(((Wall Street)))". Apparently used by the less pro-Semite area of the Interweb.

Yep. As a result, ironic/reclamation use is pretty quickly on the rise, so you may see it used by Jewish people/people accused of these connections/etc., too.

In a way, yes.  I don't particularly care what they think about our politics ("The Democrats are a center-right party!!!"  ... Neat, bro.), but I care what they think of our kindness and culture.  I've been to multiple European counties, and I'm always careful to be extremely polite and courteous.  Figure I'll try to improve foreigners' opinion of Americans one encounter at a time!

As it affects our dealings with them, it seems only natural that such be considered. You can't push around other countries if they believe you weak, and you can't work to de-radicalize a population if they think you're out to destroy them anyway.
