Can one really say that Yes Man is his own faction, it seems more apt to have the Vault Survivor in place of that.

Anyway, a tie between Mr. House and the NCR. Stability has to be ensured in New Vegas, and the barbarism and stupidity of the Legion, along with the players unpredictability makes these choices null in my eyes.

Sorry, my memory is failing me, the Courier is more apt than the Yes Man.

Mr. House, and I wouldn't be surprised if he enjoys support from both the in-real-life left and the in-real-life right because supporting him is more logically consistent within the context of New Vegas than the others choices.

Yes Man is a meme choice. I seriously don't know why people call it the most likely 'canon' choice when it leaves an indeterminate faceless nameless Courier in charge.

Legion is interesting, but sadly not very fleshed out and will collapse fast.

NCR is the choice of unthinking Fallout 3 kiddies who were conditioned by Bethesda's FO3 Brotherhood of Steel. It's a country that plays at being the pre-war USA, keeping its political system without any strong connection to its culture and traditions (sort of like real life nations like Iraq don't do democracy well), in a world too inhospitable for it to be effective. They dried up all the lakes, political corruption is more rampant than it is in real life USA, there are massive food shortages, the Mojave Campaign makes the Iraq War look well managed, and I'd even go so far as to say that in a Mr. House or Yes Man ending that they'd arguably collapse faster than the Legion.

In the context of the world of Fallout, order, safety, and extraterrestrial colonization are all of paramount importance.

And House only cares about the strip.
