It really isn't. By not releasing them, what TrumpMillerBarron is really saying is: "the information contained in my tax returns is worse than anything uncommitted voters can possibly imagine". Because if it wasn't actually worse than what they can possibly imagine, he'd only gain by releasing them.

Given that Trump has been accused of being a rapist pedophile, Russian catspaw, and billion-dollar fraudster, the mind boggles at what his returns actually show.

Or maybe what's in them just isn't flattering to his swollen and diseased ego, and he values that more that his campaign? (We do know that His Orangeness isn't very good at assigning values to things, but he likes to do it anyway. Especially to prostitutes.)
