I didn't know much about him, only knowing that he used to be the governor of New Mexico, that he wants to legalize weed and that he seems to be a nice guy, but I was stupefied with horror when I saw the following two videos:

No (D).

I'm interested to know what the (G) breakdown is, although I don't think we have many actual Green Party supporters here.

Green. Could just as well have said "Bernie Bros".

Yeah, he has better policy than the other candidates, and none of the scandals.

More so than Trump or Hillary, certainly. But then again, his lack of knowledge about Aleppo (can't get us bogged down trying to save people who want us dead anyways if you don't know about it?) was actually a plus to me so my priorities are a bit different than most voters.

Yes. I don't agree with all of his policies, but he's a sane and stable man. He maybe knows too little about foreign policy at this time, but I have no doubt that he would be willing to learn fast (unlike the Donald). He also shows the necessary respect for institutions and democracy unlike the Republican nominee. So yes, Gary is fit to be president.

If by "fit," you mean his platform, then clearly no.  If you mean experience, then yes.

1. Yes, I think he is. Any gaps he has in knowledge could be filled in. I'd rather someone with the right ideas who needs a geography lesson than a human encyclopedia who makes the wrong decisions. Also lots of criticism I see about him is his lack of public speaking ability (which makes him more relatable to me) compounded by a stigma against marijuana usage.

2. It's an irrelevant question because he has absolutely zero chance of winning. Of course in most states who wins is irrelevant in itself, since they will definitely go to one candidate barring a landslide. I'm voting for the ideology I generally believe in, because I want it to grow and I want a more pragmatic and "ready-to-govern" form of libertarianism to be a mainstream option. I doubt that's possible given the media and the general "lesser of two evils" paradigm, but I want to try, because I'm freaking DONE being forced to choose between liberals and conservatives, especially when those ideologies are being controlled by generally abhorrent political parties.

No (D), but at least he actually has experience in public office, unlike a certain Oompa Loompa I could mention.
