It's actually called the Mexico City Policy, but I did gag when I read this lazy attack ad, so yeah.

Except that it was factually inaccurate:

There were five Federalist Senators at the time. 2/5ths of them were pro-choice. That means that pro-life Senators accounted for only 3 of the 10 Senate seats, and only one of the five At-Large Senate seats was held by a pro-life Senator.

The said Mideast abortion law produced several close elections and a referendum vote that was decided by 2 votes, in favor of overturning the law. It was one of the last spurts of activity and competitive elections the Mideast ever had.

Of course "Old Labor's" answer to the problem, was to shut that regional activity down with a amendment to the Federal constitution. Considering they had "won" at the regional level, this served no purpose other than to advance the anti-Regionalist agenda of TNF and his Centralist allies.

The ad was meant to aid Talleyrand against Spiral (who was pro-choice at the time IIRC) and Tyrion against Superique (Who was also Pro-choice).

So yea, it is good in quality, but totally false on the facts.

The people showed they wanted the global gag rule when they voted for DFW. Enough Said.

I guess I forgot the "should we kill women all over the world?", question in the debates.

It was never part of his manifesto/policy ideas as far as I can recall. DFW never once said publicly, or in the debates that he'd reinstate the policy. If he had we would have called him out.

Given that half of those killed through abortion are girls, I'd love to hear your argument as to how the Mexico City Policy kills women.

If you cut of funding for contraception, family planning services and education, whilst also stopping advocacy work to change the most strident abortion rules (like those in El Salvador) then the amount of abortions are going to increase

Besides, the policy of Atlasia has from the 1970's been to not fund abortions either domestically (the Hyde Amendment) or internationally (the Helms Amendment). The Mexico City policy goes a lot further- as I say in the poster above,
