Raises hogs, ergo produces bacon, ergo MASSIVE FS.

More seriously, have been looking to get out there for some time but pretty much every state but CA, NJ, and FL are Freedom States in my view.

Earthquakes, wildfires, LA, Silicon Valley, too many people in one state. SoCal has terrible weather.

Again, terrible weather, too many people. Also not going to fare very well with climate change at all.

Also, the development graveyards outside of Tampa were some of the most terrible and disheartening things I've seen in my life.

It depends on if you like a lot of rural land.  Iowa is the new Missouri and a decade from now Minnesota will have followed the northward trend.  Remember at the turn of the century Missouri began to trend from being like Ohio to being light red.  By 2008 it was a toss up in a Democrat landslide.
