Are you assuming Walker runs as a Republican or remains as an independent?

The second scenario would most likely not happen, because Democrats would step aside like they did in 2014.

Democrats aren't gonna challenge Gov. Walker in the general but, if Gov. Walker decides to run as a Dem and Begich challenges him in the primary then I think Begich would have a decent shot.

Mark Begich is a corporate Democrat. Walker isn't amazing but is still much better than Begich.

Walker will run and win reelection as an independent. If he were to retire, Lt. Gov. Byron Malott will be the Democratic nominee.

Agreed. I would prefer Berkowitz or Begich, but Mallott(two ls, two ts) would almost certainly be the nominee.
