Absolute joke. As I have mentioned in another thread, no president has nominated someone with as little experience in government since Benjamin Harrison.

In addition to lacking qualifications, she is a complete enigma, with no known judicial views or philosophy.

waiting for the details, but she'll do; mediocrity is way underrated. I'll take mediocre over dangerous any day.

I am rather patient and await to hear her grilling in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on matters of constitutional law.

However, as far as I can tell right now, she is extremely unqualified for the job she has been nominated for.

Will likely burn in hell for being such a bad nominee, makes Hitler look like a sweet little grade school teacher, will likely be responsible for next two hurricanes.

Very negative.

I would probably have voted to confirm Roberts.  He's a bit to the right of my ideology but he definitly has the legal knowledge and experience to lead much less get on the Supreme Court.  Miers would be an outrageously incompetent justice.  I thought Bush had learned his lesson about appointing political allies (or close friends of those allies) with no experience to high positions with Michael Brown.

I'm wondering how long it is until some Republicans on here start saying they'd take Hillary over Miers.

He learned his lesson. He realized he had to find some other crony besides Michael Brown to appoint to the court.
