I disagree; to a point. The debate is Trump's chance to mitigate the conviction fallout by pressing home his political persecution points; ie hammer on how the judge and his family are dem donors, how Bragg campaigned on persecuting Trump, how this was a novel legal theory stretched to target him with felonies (regardless of whether these are true). If he can stick to the script, appear coherent and stay calm and keep hammering home the message of, are you better off now than you were in 2019, the debate could be a reasonable chance to regain some ground.

Why do you continue repeating this lie? It was Letitia James who campaigned on that promise, not Bragg.
Do you people have difficulty telling one black person apart from another?

I see you couldn't be bothered reading to the next part of the sentence where I make it pretty clear that by saying these things Trump isn't necessarily telling the truth (although if you really want to argue here's a cnn article from literally today saying Bragg "campaigned on his ability to beat Trump in court" https://www.cnn.com/2024/06/03/opinions/hunter-biden-trump-trials-mix-politics-justice-antle/index.html )

but yes, please keep it classy and jump right to calling me racist.

He will have to be medicated with some type of tranquilizer to get throw this debate. There was more than one speech when he was in office where it appeared he was medicated because he was talking slower. But my guess is that the debate will be cancelled.
