That poll was done by the Siena Research Institute of Siena College.  It is a uni poll, but it was an independent poll.  Probably about the best we're going to get out of NY, chances are.

This poll, however, is an internal poll done by Global Strategy (D).  It is an internal poll, because you can see the way the questions are asked to slant the poll.

A final crumb to add for consideration: the previous poll on the race showed Sweeney leading 49%-31%.  Incidentally, his margin is now 47%-39%.
