Question: What are your feelings about this?
#1
Yes, this concerns me quite a bit

#2
No, everything is fine. If someone/society gets hurt, the blame should rest of the victim(s)

#3
Interesting points, but due to the nature of these affairs, we are, and will always be at a loss. Just have fun watching the olympics.

OK, I am a little worried that international bodies are willing to take our guns away, but also our biological freedom and medicine.

I am not going to write a mini-paper on this, so I will just categorize my concerns-

* Will the probable restrictive policies of the IOC on not letting people who recieve legitimate preventative and rehabilitive medical treatments to compete in the games damage public opinion about helping people recieve medical treatment?

*Where should the line be drawn where someone is abusing treatment and where someone really needs help in preventing/getting better a/from a physical or mental disability?

*Can restrictive policies by the IOC be abused to comprimise or undermine the national security and general welfare of nations that they oppose the policies/cultures/ethnicities of?

*Can the nature of the Olympics, in that they are biologically restrictive be used in general state and national policies be used to morally justify genetic discrimination in the foreseeable future?

*Can the way that the IOC chooses to host the Olympics be used to comprimise our national security?

*If more biologically progressive policies are chosen by the IOC, what would the effects of this be? Would it comprimise athleticism, would it put the health of the atheletes in danger, would it simply allow just as committed people who have are genetically or physiologically disabled to compete, so as to emphasize the value of hard work and determination, instead of the value of aristocratic priviledge.

*How will these developments change our nation's policies?

*What can we do as Americans to make sure that the best outcome occurs from these affairs?
