Discuss.  I really don't have too much of an idea how this would play out except for that Romney would get 172% in Utah.

This would be a tough one for me.  I would most likely vote for Bloomberg, though a vote for Romney is not completily out of the question. I'd predict a Gore victory, since much of Religious right, despite Romney's best efforts, would probably stay home. I think Bloomberg would take from both sides, perhaps a bit more from the Dems, but I think the loss of a great part of the Republican base would more then overcome any Democratic defection to Bloomberg.

We would see a similar graphic that is displayed in Tweed's signature, albeit it won't be subsequently retracted.

Romney's chances of winning New Hampshire with a Bloomberg candidacy (or indeed, any Republican doing so) are exactly zero. New Hampshire Republicans are moderate-to-liberal.

I think he wins because Bloomberg steals anti-war votes from Gore if Bloomberg chooses an anti-war stance

You see, you seem to be under the delusion that more than 20% of New Hampshire is pro-war.

Changing NH still gives Romney the election

Yeah there is. One is a liberal who used to be a pseudo-moderate, one is a liberal in Republican clothing, and one is a liberal who used to be a Republican clothing until yesterday. How come you can't tell the difference?

That doesn't appear to have been my argument, does it? (Though, as you could apply the same argument to other states you seem to have delusions about such as Pennsylvania and Ohio, my point holds for Romney winning outright in the Electoral Vote at all, too.)

So it's
environmental extremist v. universal health care advocate v. anti-gun nut

I would hope that despite getting .03%, the Libertarians would run.  I'd cast a good protest vote.

The south (with the exception of Florida) won't vote for Gore.
