At least they didn't ask him who the PM of Canada is.  In the Texas gubernatorial debate they had a section where they asked each candidate some quiz questions.  Strayhorn was asked who the President of Mexico was, and said something like, they just had an election, and it was real close, but I can't remember the name.  Chris Bell was asked when Texas became independent, and he got a nervous schoolboy look on his face, and then after thinking it over to make sure it wasn't a trick questions, and answered, "1836", and gave a relieved smile.
