A good run, Andy. The UAC suffered a bit this election, but we'll hopefully have a stronger run next time.

Knox: We now have word that the Governor has just stepped on stage...

Governor .Andrew steps onto the stage at his campaign HQ...gives the crowd a good ole' thumbs up and steps up to the podium

Hello supporters, voters, friends and public figures,

As Election Weekend draws to a close it is clear to me that victory is no longer in our grasp. That is why I am conceeding the election for the District 1B Senate seat. I congratulate Handzus, who I am sure will best represent the people of the district.

As of now I have ran twice for the office of Senate, and once for Governor. Only once have I come out on top, and that was through comprimise. Tonight I am announcing that I will not be running for re-election as Governor of the Northeast in October. After October I do not plan on running for elected office in the near future. I will focus my efforts on my party, hopefully helping with the behind the scenes aspects. I must say that out of the three elections I have been involved in, this one was my favorite and perhaps the most exciting. For most of the weekend the election remained in a deadheat. We have made a difference, perhaps not as big as we would have liked, but we made a difference. For the past eight months I have been involved in this great forum, I was one of the first participants of fantasy politics. I am grateful for being involved all this time.

Now, for the long part…my list of "thank you’s". First and foremost I would like to thank Senator Nation, without his help and campaigning we may have not done as well as we did. I would also like to thank the following…

Chief Justice KEmperor, Bergie72, Beet, Demrepdan, King, President Gustaf, Clay, Lt. Governor Siege,  Senator John F. Kennedy, Governor htmdon, Secretary of Treasury Ben, Those who had it in their hearts to use Preferential Voting and put me as their second preference, Campaign contributers, The citizens of the Northeast.

I apologize to anyone who was left off. Goodbye and goodnight.
