I can't wait for Chuck Pennacchio to beat him [Rick Santorum].

I'm a Melissa Brown supporter and she is bound to be our next Congresswoman.

Given that you obviously created this just to get people to agree with you that Max Power's comment is more ridiculous, I'm voting for yours just to spite you, even if it's not true. Tongue

I believe Casey has gone to the other extreme now, saying that Pennacchio won't get out of the single digits in the Dem primary.

My reason for posting this is because Casey has a personal distaste for me and decided to put my infamous quote in his signature. What Casey failed to realize was that Brown had a great chance at winning the seat while Chuck Pennacchio has a better chance at getting a job mopping floors at McDonald's than getting elected to the U.S. Senate.

But did you actually think Brown was going to win? I mean honestly?

Uh...PA 13 was one of the biggest House races in the country. Even Flyers was afraid that it could go Republican so don't act like it's some crazy thought.

My opinion has changed since then. At that time, I wasn't as interested in politics as I am now. But still, why do you find the need to make this poll? You've been rather childish recently, Phil. You're not the same Phil I gave a second preference to in the elections. Sad

The quote from me is meant to mock me and that's ok. I was wrong. Brown was beat. Life goes on. But you decide to be the child and mock me about it.

I'm not mocking you. I'm mocking Mrs. Brown. Grow up, it's been done to everyone.

This thread is misnamed. It should be named "Let's Start a Fight!"

He's doing it to see if I get mad. But I won't, because I'm mature enough to not hold a grudge.

I don't want you to get mad. I want to point out the stupidity that you spew. People obviously mock my statement about Brown back in June of last year so I wanted to see if people think my statement was more ridiculous than Casey's. It's ashame so many think my comment is more ridiculous. It only proves their lack of knowledge of Pennsylvania politics. I know Flyers would even agree that Brown's chances of taking PA 13 are much better than a Pennacchio victory.

Um, I don't think any of the comments were ridiculous.  They are peoples' opinions.  Phil, you can probably dig up some old quote from many Democrats here of them predicting confidently that Kerry was going to win.  I thought that Allyson Schwartz was going to win PA-13, but I don't think it's ridiculous that you thought otherwise.  Calm down people, everybody's wrong once in a while.

My original prediction had Kerry winning Tennessee; I dare you to top that.

If Pennachio is the nominee, and that is quite possible even if the odds seem to be against it now, he will almost certainly beat the ultra conservative Santorum.
Pennachio is a man of principle.
We need more like him.
I believe that Pennachio will beat Santorum if he can first beat that DINO Casey, but what do I know,  I never thought Bush would win (oh yeah, he didn't not really, oh but let's not go there again).

A Pennachio victory would be the greatest news that I've heard in a long time.

Now this is a wet dream if I've ever seen one. Jeff Piccola will destroy any challenger in the Primary and easily win victory over the ultra-liberal Rendell.

A Piccola victory would be the greatest thing ever.
