Here in Memphis we have a club that only sells 40s. It's an over the top gimmicky disco-ball type place. Very amusing.
When I was in college, one of the sororities had a "shorties and forties" party where you were supposed to come dressed as ghetto as possible. It was a huge scandal and the president of the sorority had to give this huge apology in the school paper and everything. I didn't see what the big deal was.
