I didn't agree with the content of his speech, but he seemed to make a lot more sense and talked with much more confidence and fluidity than he did back during those awful GOP debates.

he would have done better, but he wouldn't have been the nominee. However, I'm not entirely sure he wanted to be the nominee

MSNBC said that Thompson cleared his throat 70 times during his speech. lol.

That was so frustrating to listen to.
