Freedom Country (FC) vs. Horrible Country (HC).

Day 1: Cape Verde: 88.9% positive
Day 2: Namibia: 81.3% positive
Day 3: San Marino: 94.1% positive
Day 4: Slovakia: 85.7% positive
Day 5: Monaco: 58.3% negative

Cuba is a FC, or atleast I have a positive opinion of Cuba. It may not be a freedom country per se, but FC in this case means "positive" and not a rating of political freedom.

Can't help but admire the Old Moron... in a way.

Which also sums up the feelings of ~half of Cuba.

Not its biggest fan in the world, to say the least.

Neutral. It has a pretty good health care system, and Americans aren't allowed in. What more can one want? Cheesy

I don't want to vote HC just because of the Castro governments. I'd love to visit one day.

I feel bad for Cuba. Such a nice country with great people, but has murderous thugs for leaders.

That's how older Cubans still feel about the regime: "At least he's not Fulgencio."

I'm not a big Castro fan so HC. Other than that I don't really have any thing against Cuba.

I try not to judge countries by their governments, so I will not comment much of the current Cuban government, but will only note that it has been more beneficial over the long term than harmful. Otherwise, a nice country with some very nice people.
