Well Lunar, let us wait and see what is in the "patch" as you call it (I would call it a wholesale revision but whatever),

Provisions that were introduced and passed in the main bill, and not being changed except for financing (if that), include banning discrimination for pre-existing conditions, the individual mandate, fees to enforce the mandate, and subsidies to help people afford coverage. I can't see it as a wholesale revision when the main building blocks of the new plan were passed by the regular process and the patches deal almost entirely with sources of funding and levels of expenditure.

Well Lunar, let us wait and see what is in the "patch" as you call it (I would call it a wholesale revision but whatever), and then we can decide on its "size," and whether "patch" or say "changeling," is the most apropos word to describe it all. Fair enough?

Well, me and the media call it a "patch,"as do the political writers who's blogs I frequent.  Clearly it's important to remember that this isn't the healthcare bill that we're talking about.

Why does "size" need to be in quotation marks? I mean, considering the patch/fix's provisions, it fits into where this process has been used in the past.
