I'm not good on my feet and under pressure, so I doubt my performance would be all that great I'm also not good at zinging people, which is increasingly all debates are about lately.

I am always amazed at the candidates....they are not only ind ebates with millions watching and split second to think, they have hundreds of interviews and speeches and events and they do not screw up that much- they are ALL very impressive people

Option 1, but largely because my public speaking skills are pretty mediocre and I would be likely to freak out in front of such a massive audience combined with the fact that I'd probably stutter and look like a fool. I also downright suck at debating.

Of course, in debates they basically recite or spew talking points which were rammed into their heads by their aides or in lack thereof skate around an issue nicely, but it's still pretty impressive on their part.

When I watch a political debate I often think, "these guys are so full of sh**t." This applies across the political spectrum and even includes people I support for office.
