I'm fairly certain Mormons have already posthumously baptized Muhammad, given that they baptize virtually any notable person who dies, and Joseph Smith likened himself to Muhammad and wrote approvingly of him.

I wiki-walk in my spare time, and I'm interested in cultural/religious studies, as are most people on this board. I'm neither a Mormon nor a Muslim.

It's a pretty famous Joseph Smith quote.  "Like Mohammed, whose motto in treating for peace was, 'the Alcoran or the Sword,' so should it be eventually with us"

so Smith also threatened to use violence against those who opposed his beliefs?...is there anyway to re-wrap the subject of Mormonism and pretend it never existed?
