This article is interesting not so much because, as we all know, Paul and Mittens play nice to one another, but because of the chatter about a "delegate transfer."

Even if the numbers make it clear that Paul will never get a majority of the delegates? At some point, the Paul delegates will have to vote for someone else.

They'll keep voting for him until the last ballot, then.  To get them to vote otherwise would require a quid pro quo (perhaps Rand as VP).

Maybe if they get Rand as VP. But they're not just going to vote en masse for Mitt because Paul tells them to.

You ignore how loyal and obedient to Ron Paul those Paultards are. If Paul gets a good agreement from Romney about economic/monetary policy, I think he'll go for it, and Paul's puppets will follow whatever Ron tells them to do.
