I believe that Harry, John Ford, Supersoulty, Nym, and StatesRights may one day reach the pinnacle of the Presidency.

Maybe President of Atlas (no offense to them), I sincerely doubt anybody here will be President one day, John Ford would stand a good chance if not for being from California, not so great a state for Republicans anymore but by the time he is a bit older, maybe.

Harry has the problem that he couldn't get onto the national scene very easily being from Mississippi.

John ford would never get out f primary(no offense).

If you're pro-life and never endorse a tax hike, you can get out of the primary.

How do you plan on getting trough New Hampshire, Delaware and South carloina with a -2.10 economic score?

Ummm, generally they don't ask for your political compass score Tongue Also, that thing is flawed.

LOL, I know, but it does indicate a lack of willingness to pursue conservative economic policies.

They'll ask about taxes and wasteful spending.  I'm adequate.  I support the privatization of social security as well.  I don't think it would be a problem.

Harry and John Ford could just move to states where they could win. No problems there.

So, be honest, what is keeping me off of everyone's list?

I was being serious.  I wasn't asking for people to humor me and tell me I'm great if they don't think I am.  I really want to know.

If what you said is true, though, thank you.

Well, I don't know about your personality too much Chris, but I think it helps to be a very vocal, outgoing person (mainly during campaigns) -- do you have those traits at all?

So, be honest, what is keeping me off of everyone's list?

Often, the list ends up being a rehash of whatever the first post was.  If the first poster forgot your name, you often don't get mentioned at all and simply fall between the cracks.  When the next such thread begins, you inexplicably re-appear as a promising future whatever.  It happens.  I'm pretty sure I was the first to mention ANY of the European posters.  It doesn't mean they couldn't do it, they just weren't the first names to pop into peoples heads on this particular day.

How do y'all fancy my chances, assuming that the political culture in twenty to forty years would be accepting enough for a Jewish candidate?

Given that I've never met you, or anyone else here, it would be very difficult for me or anyone else to make that kind of judgement.  I simply wouldn't put any stock into these opinions, they're all just for fun.

Nym is more like an administration officer than a politician.

Since I have a Masters in Public Administration, this is probably accurate.

Thanks to all who mentioned me. By the way, what is meant by the "old" Nym and the "new" Nym? How have I changed?

Old Nym = Nicest guy on forum, virtually non-partisan, very fair and even-handed

Nym 2.0 = Jfern with an education.  Makes me look relatively non-partisan.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind.

My views haven't changed, for the record, though now that I think about it I have been letting things get to me a bit much. And I don't support conspiracy theories like Jfern, though I assume you knew that, hence the "with an education" bit. I don't think it's really fair to compare me to him. I haven't had as much time to talk substanatively about policy and my views lately, however, so that may be contributing to it.

I've been thinking of making a thread about what I don't like about Democrats. I will soon if I get the time.
