My avatar is misleading - I do live in Ohio, and have convinced several of the apolitical members of my family to vote for Mitt Romney (as a way to get me to shut up). So my vote counts several times.

Voting later today. Making sure to find the political positions of every local official down to Sheriffs and Judges. Will be interesting to see how the rest of my county and state respond to those whom I vote for.

If you support traditional values and want to nominate a candidate who can truly contrast against Obama, vote Santorum, my friend.

If you want a candidate that won't loose as heavily to Obama then vote Romney.

As an honest question, may I ask why you as an undecided Republican voter ultimately found Governor Romney to be the candidate of your choice?

Alas, I shan't be voting today. Didn't get registered in time.

Not that I'd be voting in the Republican primary anyway of course.

Truth is I don't really like any of the GOP candidates that well.. but I decided to vote Romney because I think he has the experience to deal with the economy better than the others and I think he is the only one with any chance at all to beat Obama.

Democratic primary?

I'm assuming you're trying to stop a certain Ohio representative... Wink

I voted to retain my current congresswoman whom I support across party lines. Pro-life, socially moderate Democrats are worth keeping around.

I was disappointed, however, that President Obama was the only one on the ballot in the presidential race, so I just left that blank.

I also wanted to vote for my County Comissioner, who is a friend of my dad's, that is facing a primary challenge.

They could be voting Santorum or Paul to spite you.

Voted at about 6:45pm Eastern time. I voted for Senator Santorum. My father did as well. His reason he told me was, "Liberals are so far out there, I voted for Santorum to have the contrast." His words.

He added that he wouldn't have to hold his nose for anybody including Romney, unless it was Ron Paul.

Ah, so I was correct.
