Even the far right apocalypse is optimistic now

I happened to get a banner ad today for Porter Stansberry's doom and gloom buy survival seeds and gold apocalypse scam.

I've seen it before since Obama was elected in 2008.  It was typical fearmongering stuff: a video by some guy saying he saw the economic collapse coming and now predicts Obama's socialist agenda is going to destroy this country and here's how to protect yourself when the Marxist revolution happens, blah, blah, blah.  However, the message is different now... very, very different.  



Yes.  It's not the destruction of the country anymore.  The apocalypse is now an economy boom of prosperity and peace the likes of which we have not seen in over a century will occur, Obama will become the most popular President of all time, and enough support will mount for him and his policies that the Constitution will be amended and he will easily win a 3rd and 4th term.   Doom and Gloom is now Boom and Gloom.

This is still painted as bad because black people, tyranny, and whatnot, but if you don't hate Obama irrationally, then this whole apocalyptic worst case scenario sounds like a great time to be an American.

I must say, this is some pretty "Excellent news!"™  Imagine what reality will be like if this is what the far right nutter imagination is picturing.

This guy is such a tease, he takes forever to say what actually causes this supposed economic boom.  It turns out its oil shales.

Economic Boom or not, there is absolutely no way Obama can get a third term, as he suggests he will.  Democrats would need to get 2/3 of the House and Senate before 2016 to amend the constitution.  That means they would need to pick up 11 seats in the senate (out of 14 republican held seats), and that assumes absolutely no opposition within the party.

I don't know who this Stansberry is, but he is without doubt a horrible person.  I really mean that.  The way he lied in that video, he's probably a severe sociopath at best.  He preys on simple-minded people who know nothing about history.  I have my doubts that he said anything true in that diatribe, given who he called socialists, that he implied Wilson entered WWI willingly, and that he claimed Woodrow Wilson was a staunch progressive.  I hope the oil boom stops quickly, because if it doesn't, and we don't look for alternative fuels, this planet is screwed-and so is the human race.  We would be MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better off if we had a socialist government.  And I mean real socialism.  Not the wimpy social democracies they have in Europe, and not those fake "Communist" regimes that have spoiled the system's good name.  Capitalism is unsustainable.  It encourages highly immoral behavior, and let me present Porter Stansberry as Exhibit A.
