Which Republicans would make their OPPOSITION to Gay Marriage a big deal in the 2016 primaries, and possibly general election?

I'm sure Santorum would (he's already said that stopping gay marriage is more important than outlawing abortion).... but would anyone else? Would Jindal or McDonnell or Martinez?

Would make a big deal of their opposition:
- Santorum
- Perry
- Jindal
- McDonnell
- Pence

Would try to ignore it:
- Rubio
- Ryan
- Paul
- Jeb Bush
- Thune (though we really know nothing about him, so we can't say for sure)

Might try to flip-flop:
- Christie

John Thune (whom I hate to call my Senator) has extreme religious views (he's a creationist).  In 2006, he said that constitutionally banning gay marriage was "an important issue."  Actually, he may have defeated Daschle thanks to the issue, since James Dobson came to campaign for Thune, attacking Daschle for supporting "the radical homosexual agenda."  Thune is without question anti-gay.

On the other hand, Thune is reasonably smart and very crafty, and he may be able to remain silent about an issue if he has to.

If your question is about primaries, Thune may make it an issue, but probably not in the general election.  Most of the top contenders would probably be smart enough to ignore it in the general election.  (Maybe not Santorum).

Santorum. Everybody else would avoid talking about it and answering questions as much as possible. Including Jindal and Thune, who are smarter than that.
