Due to unexpected problems with internet access, which appearently are going to last quite a while, I no longer can carry out my duties as Senator. During my campaign I promised to serve out my entire term, unless emergency happens. Well, here it is.

I already wanted to announce I won't be running for re-election. Truth is, I was rather a poor Senator, missing many debates and some votes. I wanted to remain till my term is over to see my projects of Judicial Tenure Amendment and Wiki Reform reaching the floor, but in this situation, I'd be basically an absent seat holder. Since I long criticized those who remain in office despite not doing a thing, it would be not right for me not to resign.

I'm satisfied two of my initiatives, Help The Refugees Act and OSPR Amendment regarding PPT actvity were adopted. So maybe my lackluster tenure was not an utter waste.

Finally, I'd like to thank all my voters. Sorry, I couldn't do better.

When you were a candidate, I believe I asked you if elected whether you planned on serving more than 6 days of your term.

Well, you did it.  Congratulations!

I know we have not always seen eye to eye on everything, an understatement I'm sure, but in all seriousness, I am sorry to hear about your internet access problems, thank you for your service and work as a Senator, wish you the best for the future, and hope you will be able to return to the forum soon.

I believe the reason Kalwejt is having internet access issues is because he has become a monk and is now living in a monastery.
