Just because it's not a conservative site doesn't mean what they say is inaccurate. Breitbart makes up more stuff than Daily Kos ever has.

Over 5,000,000 people have lost their coverage. Knock off the people in the article and you've got a net loss of 3,500,000 policies. That's not something to brag about.

Lol @ the assumption that all or even most of those policies represented any real "coverage".

That would be worrying if those people had no means to acquire new coverage, but of course, those 3.5 million will largely be able to find far superior policies that actually coverage them for real emergencies and illnesses. With subsidies.

well with one data point it is clear that Obamacare is over and I guess we should just scrap the whole thing and go back to the way it was in 2008 because that was great.

Bottom line is that the numbers that matter are things like the percent of uninsured, the growth of health care costs, percent of Americans going bankrupt due to health care costs. And we really wont get good metrics on the effects of Obamacare on those for at least 2 years, but more likely 4 years.

Breitbart is worse, dear Dr.  I was just immitating those who bash a report from Faux News even if they picked it up from the AP and it's not their original content.

If one is happy with one's coverage, who is the government to deem it deficient and unacceptable? I shouldn't have to lose something I'm happy with because the government thinks I shouldn't like it.

If one is happy stopping at green lights and going on red lights, who is the government to deem it deficient and unacceptable? I shouldn't have to lose something I'm happy with because the government thinks I shouldn't like it.

They tell you going 80 mph in a school zone is unacceptable all the time.  I mean it's sort of their reason for existing.  If you want to have junk insurance then please stay away from our emergency rooms.  We don't want to have to pay for you when your insurance informs you the fine print of your policy says they don't have to pay for basic services.

You don't get it.  We are dealing with a serious moral hazard issue.  If insurance companies have to have a heart and accept people with preexisitng conditions we can't have people running around with no insurance or BS $50 a month plans and then hopping onto legitimate insurance plans when they are diagnosed with diabetes and need a ton of meds.

That's quite obviously an absurd response and failed attempt at wit. Having insurance I like does not put the public in immediate danger of being obliterated by a 4,000 pound hunk of steel and explosive gasoline.

If you have a junk "insurance" policy that doesn't actually cover much, you are a major risk to yourself and the public, both health-wise and financially.

Actually Kos is inaccurate.  He was caught twisting statistics during the last election.  Granted, Breitbart isn't either, but do you really want your argument to be, "Well we're not the worst liars on the Internet!"?

OK, some guy without evidence says that Kos twisted statistics a year ago. That proves he most be lying now.
