Yes. It was significantly more convenient than the online edition, they were everywhere here while it was published so finding one was never a problem. Plus it was distributed at the music venue I go to most, so I would read it between bands.

Last year when I went to Chicago, the bus made one stop at the Milwaukee station. Milwaukee was one of the last three markets the print edition was in before it was discontinued altogether at the end of 2012, so I was able to pick one up in the station after having not seen any for a year. I was kind of a surreal yet fulfilling experience.

With the internets and liking them on FB, who needs it in print?  No.

Never even occurred to me that there was a print edition.

The online version was better when they were doing a weekly publication schedule for the print edition.  Modern day Onion isn't nearly as good.

Plus the Onion online is a tad more timely.

Much more timely, actually

People actually read more than one article of The Onion at a time?

In the not too distant past, they'd have a new issue out once a week, and so you'd have a brand new set of articles coming out all at once, I think every Tuesday.  I remember going to the website every Tuesday to read all the new articles, back when it was so funny that that was worth it.  Now that they're updating continuously like a news site, the quality seems to have dropped.  (See, e.g., this)
