Massive HP.

Likely my least favorite forum Republican; where other blue avatars (Cathcon, say) put their own spin on Republican dogmatism, I sometimes fantasize that shua is a wooden puppet sitting on Reince Priebus' lap.

I don't know that I've seen him formulate a unique or novel thought in years, certainly not enough to justify the green avatar.

There's traditionally supposed to be a poll attached to this, you know.

I'm on a mobile. And polls make it easier to avoid thought anyway.

Wtf? Shua is like the only that comes across as even marginally sensible. I say Massive FF.

That's funny ... I sometimes fantasize that Ziggy is Reince Priebus.

He's literally a party-line Republican. Go look at his statements in the Pennsylvania SSM thread, where he blasts a Bush-appointed judge for daring veer from the orthodoxy.

It'd be just as annoying if he were a lockstep Democrat. But I find him the worst Party Man on the forum, and I wish he'd change his avatar.

Independent =/= Moderate.  You don't have to be staunchly non-partisan to be an Independent.

Also, I don't recall shua ever openly opposing SSM.  I'm pretty sure True Federalist supports SSM, but he still criticizes court decisions on them if they don't line up with logic, or proper interpretation of the law, for that matter.

It wasn't the judges' marriage decision he criticized but Dover, through a particularly wormy false equivalency.

I implicitly criticized both as being similarly hubristic.

Honestly if someone had asked me which poster the OP was most similar I would say he's like a less subtle, less religious shua, both are adept at presenting some contrarian thoughts on the forum. You should give him a chance to change your mind and see some of shua's other posts.

I think I've stated a number of times my support for SSM, though of course generally in as subtle and contrarian a manner as possible.

Does Zig realize he's calling an admitted environmentalist a party line Republican?

Just curious.

Anyway, I personally don't really like shua very much, but he's intellectually a lot more interesting than Einzige is giving him credit for, and I've never gotten the sense that he doesn't believe what he says, so he's got a lot going for him compared to a whole host of other posters.
