At least North Korea has an okay climate and fewer random beheadings.

I'm going to die in either. That said I prefer the ISIS state since the North Korean standard of living is so low. I might as well have a few modest comforts before I go.

I think I could adjust to ISIS controlled Iraq. I know how to bullsh*t my way out of trouble, and the geographical situation makes escape possible unlike North Korea.

Think about this: if I defected from ISIS controlled Iraq, I'd be able to make it to safety and my family most likely wouldn't be harmed. In North Korea, all of your relatives-even distant cousins-would be sent to the gulags because of your actions.

ISIS controlled Iraq seems easier to escape from.

Syria/Iraq.  A quick death would be better than living in North Korea.  And, as an American gay Jew, I think cutting off my head is worth 1000 radical Islam points.

ISIS territory, since it'd be easier to escape from or hide in and if you get caught it's a quicker death.

I'd probably be gunned down in both, but an ISIS-controlled Iraq/Syria would probably be easier to leave.

this, less starvation, probably less political repression, and ISIS isn't a cult like North Korea, it's just a bunch of blood thirsty religious wackos. Plus ISIS is more likely to collapse than North Korea
