The former New York governor isn't ruling out a 2016 presidential bid. While he's a longshot, can he impact the GOP nomination if he runs or will his apparent lack of charisma affect his bid?

In 2012, he decided to run and even created a website that was leaked online, before aborting the run. It still don't understand how that went down.

I'd vote for Pataki over half the current GOP pool. Is there any chance he'd actually win the primary and/or the general though?

That may not be unique with Jeb and Huckabee leading in primary polls.

Pataki would likely be a minor figure, although he might be able to get some free media as one of the more moderate candidates.

George Pataki doesn't have to rule anything out, reality has done that for him.

He'd make the Guiliani Presidential campaign look like a major success in comparison.

His last name is similar to a common British racial slur.

Will have to move to the right specifically on abortion. He may end up being the Jon Huntsman of 2016.

Jesus Christ. Who's gonna be a potential candidate next? George Allen? Rudy Giuliani?

If Pataki runs, it's probably more for a cabinet position. He could be a good VP for a conservative firebrand to unify the moderates and conservatives.

I like the guy, and he was one of New York's Better Governors, but how is he going to win in Iowa or South Carolina?

He'd be better off running against Cuomo or Gillibrand in 2018.

He'd fade before the Iowa Caucuses. Next.
