So Let's just say Scott Walker wins the 2016 election.. with expanded majorities in the house and senate... However, The Economy enters into another recession. Walker faces a very strong opponent in Ted Cruz. Though Walker wins the primaries, Ted Cruz splits off and starts his own candidacy. Scott Walker's running mate is Rob Portman and Ted Cruz's running mate is Tom Cotton.

On the Democratic side of things, Hillary Clinton was the 2016 candidate but lost. 3 major canidates run. Senator Kristen Gillibrand of New York, Governor Andrew Cuomo, and Governor Martin O Malley. Gillibrand wins the primaries and then chooses Alison Grimes of Kentucky. Grimes become Senator after Rand Paul declines to run in 2016. There is some Sad News. Former President Clinton died of a major heart attack and Senator Reid died in a Plane Crash flying to Arkansas.

Maps would be nice.

This would scramble the map up a bit since the Cruz/Cotton ticket would peal off Republican votes in the south. In a sh**tty economy I think that Gillibrand would sweep the swing states.

I don't think you have to kill Bill Clinton to help Gillibrand win. The third failed GOP presidency in a row makes it quite easy.

Why would O'Malley be relevant by then?

Reid's plane crash will probably launch decades of conspiracy theories.

Clinton died like 1 day before the election.......... Harry Reid apparently was flying his own plane ! I can see that you are a democrat. I am Repubilcan. Quick Question Though, What happens to the House and Senate ?

If Walker is as unpopular as you imply, Democrats probably gained the Senate in 2018. Unsure about the House. Gillibrand will have coattails, but it might not be enough for a majority.

The Recession started around April of 2019...... Martin O Malley didn't run in 2016 because of Clinton. Obama's happily retired in Chicago Illinois.
