Who cares if Jeb doesn't vote for president? Hillary used a .com rather than a .gov e-mail address.

Jeb is an idiot, but Hillary's is actually a bigger deal. It is the 21st century version of the missing 18 minutes.

I dont understand why Hillary fans dont grasp that the worst thing for the Democrat party would be IF SHE WON. She'd ensure that the GOP after 2018 was larger than it is today. That is why she is my second choice for Prez. Walker is my first choice. But if we are going to have a Bush v Clinton races, the winner ends up destroying their party at every level from Dog Catcher to Senate. Ill take Hil and her corruption and incompetence over Bush's desire to transform American into a slightly richer Mexico

No.  They're both irrelevant.

Hillary Clinton used a private email address.  That is perfectly legal.  You just have to send your work emails to the State Department to be archived.  She did that.

The policy, implemented after she left, is to strongly recommend you use your .gov email for all work email so that you don't have to go sort through your email after the fact.  There is no law to that effect though, you just have to preserve your work emails and send to them to be archived.

You're either misunderstanding that, or assuming that she must have done with because she had something to hide.  Well, maybe she has some smoking gun email that she refused to turn over to the State Department.  But, we don't know that, there's not even a suggestion of that.  So, Hillary Clinton did nothing wrong, that we know of.

And, I find that highly dubious.  If you send an email, another person has it.  And, that person can be hacked and emails leak all the time.  People in high places know that their emails might turn up on the front page of the NY Post tomorrow, so they are very circumspect about their tone and what they say.

Wouldn't it be more embarrassing to vote for Presidential ticket that included Sarah Palin?

I think the bigger scandal here is the fact that you can look up county records and find out for which candidate a person has voted.

Or are these records only to show if a person has voted at all, without showing for which candidate ?

There's no possible way for people to know who you voted for unless you tell them.

Congratulations, Republican nominee Walker!

Seriously though, this is a non-issue.

You can't. The record just says which election(s) you voted in, not what candidate(s) you cast your ballot for.

It would basically say something like:

"General Election, November XX, 20XX"

These are maintained by counties, so they only have record of elections you voted in as a registered voter in that county.

In all likelihood, I'd bet that Jeb was just registered somewhere else for the 2008 election. He might have been registered to vote in Maine, where his family has their estate, or perhaps somewhere else where he has a residence that he owns or uses.

You can't see who the person voted for. However, you can see if they voted and, more importantly, if they vote in primaries. Someone who regularly votes in GOP primaries is probably a diehard Republican and someone who regularly votes in Democratic primaries is probably a diehard Democrat.

I suspect that he voted for Obama in 2012 because if Romney won he would have to wait until 2020.

So were the Clintons straight-ticket Republicans during the Aughts?

Hillary had to vote for Obama in 2012, she was still employed by him... That said I wouldn't be shocked if both Clintons (and possibly even Chelsea) voted for McCain in 2008. The level of conniving and scheming in that family is beyond normal human nature.

Well so if the Clinton's voted for McCain in 2008, maybe it's a question of good taste and they have that right. What I don't understand,  is  how many people were possessed with a lot of bad judgement, which must be the  explanation for voting for the "wealth spreader" in 2008. 😮
