In the remote chance that  he becomes the Democratic nominee.

Representative Donna Edwards of Maryland, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives since 2008.

Well educated, B.A. degree and J.D. degree.

Co-founded and served as the first executive director of the National Network to End Domestic Violence, an advocacy and legal support group for battered women. Worked to pass the 1994 Violence Against Women Act.

Later worked with Public Citizen, and then as executive director of the Center for a New Democracy. In 2000 became the executive director of the Arca Foundation.

I believe he would pick a black woman for VP.

I could see him going with Xavier Becerra. Western and Hispanic are good counters to Eastern and Jewish.

Sanders/Warren is a pipedream, to be realistic.

Kamala Harris, although I'm not sure what would happen if someone dropped out between the primary and general election in a California race.

I'm not sure Harris would even want to jump on that instead of winning a safe senate seat. There would be no guarantees of actually being elected. It would be a long shot at best for her.

I like the idea of a Sanders-O'Malley ticket actually if only for the potential photoshop value of him as Doc and O'Malley as Marty McFly.

If Amanda Curtis had won her Senate Race, then she might be a good choice if Sanders was going for someone unknown.  But she has baggage.

Some other far left senator. Maybe Schatz, Reed, Warren, or Baldwin.

I don't think he'd choose another Jew like the the more conservative of the Hawaii Senators.

I think he has to choose a real person for his running mate.

Tammy Baldwin would be cool, but America would never vote for a lesbian VP. Becerra's a good idea.

Anything involving Sanders is a pipedream, to be realistic.

In the unlikely event Sanders had to make this decision, I would imagine a diverse pick who isn't from the Northeast (and especially not New England.)

Klobuchar's a competent Sentor, but that may not be the message he wants to send.

Hilda Solis is a Hispanic woman with a decent resume.

Tammy Baldwin is very progressive.

Solis could be a good pick as well.
