As a small child all I ever wanted to drink was apple juice and chocolate milk.  These are still two of my favorite things.  So...apples.  Though when I'm sick and don't feel like eating...bananas go down easy.

I probably eat more bananas, but I went with apples because of the variety.

Super easy for me.

Bananas are my favorite fruit and I don't care for apples.

^^ haha.

I like apple with muesli or as a post-dinner snack.  Bananas, I actually prefer to slice them up and freeze them, and make an icy desert, rather than eating them fresh.

It depends on the variety of apple.  There is nothing worse than the insipid Red Delicious apple which really ought to be sued to change its name for it certainly is not delicious.  But a tart McIntosh apple at the peak of season can't be beat. Cavendish bananas have the advantage of being reliable, but they aren't all that great. There are supposed to be better banana varieties, but they never get here.

I'd ignore both of them for a lot of other fruits. If I had to choose either, I'd choose a banana, but it can't be overly ripe. That stench is overpowering.

That's exactly right, unless things are looking fuzzy.

Voted bananas, although both are good. You can put bananas on cereal, oatmeal, combine with peanut butter, I like banana cake, etc.

I'd also write in avocados.

When they get spotty...throw them in the freezer.  The peel will turn black but the banana will be perfect for baking.

As for fuzzy...yeah...compost that shiznit.

Weirdly, and perhaps unbelievably...I know of a distant relative who died of a potassium overdose from eating a bunch of bananas every day.

I also have a relative who was scalped by a Dairy Queen blizzard machine.  Probably while making a freaking banana blizzard knowing my family's luck.

Just remember there is a reason besides hair in the food to wear a pony tail or hairnet when preparing food (or operating any machinery with rapidly moving parts for that matter).

Looking good while you cook is fine...until you get scalped. Or dunk your hair in a deep fryer...reminds me of the Incredibles..."NO CAPES!!"

I bet Dallasfan has many battlescars from his war with hot oil and grills.

I once fingerprinted myself on a flattop grill.  Try cleaning a commercial kitchen with ten burnt finger tips.  That's so much fun!
