1806/1814 - Hartford Convention and so forth. The first time the Federalists push for New England seccession in response to the Louisiana Purchase. The second time it was over the War of 1812.

1830's Nullification Crisis

1820/1850 - Diffused with the compromises but only for a short while for the latter

Have there been any times since the Civil War?

Would a revolution have been attempted if the Great Depression continued as it was under Hoover?
Or how about the Civil Rights movement without MLK?
