Schubert's "Trout" quintet has been my jam for years.

I'm bumping this because 1 I want to hear more recommendations, and 2:

I am completely enchanted by Wagner's Tristan and Isolde Prelude:

By classical, do you mean "All DEWMs before jazz"?

Or do you mean between "music from DEWMs specifically around 1750-1830?"

For the former, Sibelius is quite amazing, as is Brahms. However it's probably Brandenburg Concerto IV, Mvt. 1 that takes the cake for easy listening. However Scarlatti, Correlli (Christmas Concerto more specifically) are pretty cool too.

For the latter, while Jupiter Symphony, Mvt. 1 is good,...I'd hunt down Salieri's stuff for something a bit more obscure.

Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Beethoven's Ode to Joy and Moonlight Sonata, the fourth movement of Dvorak's New World Symphony, and many of Chopin's Mazurkas.
