He was generally a social liberal, but supported a flat tax. The main points in his platform were the promotion of transcedental meditation and government adherence to "natural laws", whatever that means.

Buchanan was probably the most qualified and I admire his contribution to issues like foreign policy, but I just can't stand his obnoxious social conservatism. So, Browne, I guess.

Nader again.

Buchanan I agree is the most qualified but he's a loon.  He's one of the main reasons the reform party died.
