None whatsoever.  The only reason for this is that Manchin and Sinema are Republicans who won’t nuke the filibuster and opposed BBB because…well…they’re Republicans.

If there were 50 actual Democrats in the Senate, then BBB, voting rights, a gerrymandering ban, DC statehood, gun control, federal protection of a woman’s right to choose, etc all would’ve passed and we’d be talking about how Biden was the most successful/transformative Democratic President since FDR.  I’m not a fan of Biden and I never have been, but I do think that people really need to remember this.

Standing for normalcy rather than going forward is a bad idea. Take a direction, a real direction, and stick with it.

What caused this, and what lessons can future administrations learn from this one?

Hope you aren't in office when there's a lot of global financial instability.

It takes longer than 2 yrs to Eradicate a disease and we are stuck with COVID , no matter if it's a Pandemic or not it has changed our workforce people don't want to work Manuel Labor like during ore Pandemic yrs and we have too many people with College Degrees with no white collar jobs but blue collar because the Student Loan crisis

If you make 15/25K you can be on a IBR plan which pays the interest only with little or no monies

But, we haven't had a Filibuster proof D TRIFECTA they were talking about Federal Job assurances, Reparations and BBB Green jobs on bullet speed rail, that can boost the workforce from a Manuel Labor to a tech Environment

We know Rs won't do that they just gonna keep cutting Entitlements, they promised jobs in 2010 sweep and didn't delivery , all they gonna do is keep the status quo going with Manuel Labor people with College Degrees are working now and don't want
