He'll need to bring in an awful lot of current non-voters to offset the loss of establishment type Republicans and the energizing of non-whites to vote Democratic. Granted, Trump has shown that he can do awful awfully well, but an awful lot of the Trump effect would be wasted in making blue States bluer, when the Republicans need to turn purple States blue to win the White House.
