I had heard about this, but what time is she actually leaving Nevada?  The caucuses begin at 11am Pacific time, so the results come in in the afternoon, and that's presumably when Clinton and Sanders would give their victory/concession speeches.  There's plenty of time for her to fly to Texas and do an event that night.  No reason to take the night off, since there are only so many days left before Super Tuesday.

I suppose the Clinton people figure she can say she's "breathing a sigh of relief" over Nevada results just as easily from Texas as Nevada, and Texas is clearly the big prize on March 1. If Clinton comes in weak on Super Tuesday, she may limp on to the nomination, but she'll have to answer a lot of uncomfortable questions along the way...

Since the caucus is at 11 am and the results should be clear before nightfall, I dont see this as a problem.

TYT is spinning it as signs of Clinton panic.  I do not think that this is a reasonable interpretation.

MSNBC is "Spinning" it that way as well. TYT has been pretty accurate on the election so i doubt it's a lie that the Clinton campaign is lowering expectations.

Yeah, the event doesn't start until 8:15 PM CT, which would be a little over 6 hours from when the caucuses start in Nevada. It would be dumb not to do an event elsewhere

Hopefully Bernie has a rally that night in Austin, Boston, Boulder, Denver, Minneapolis, Oklahoma City, or Tulsa.

At this point there's really no point in staying in a state after polls close. With like twenty states voting in the next two weeks, time is too precious for that.

Don't like Clinton but unlike paid Hillary hacks, I can differentiate between right & wrong, common sense & not so common sense.

There is nothing wrong IMO with this. I would have done the same - Don't waste your time with so few days to go to Super Tuesday - Bernie should also do a rally in Austin - Austin is Bernie Country baby!
