Rather hilarious inasmuch as Cruz did not get over 50% in Texas. Cruz spends a lot of time telling other candidates to drop out. My best advice is that both Trump and Cruz should drop out, but that's just me. Tongue

Cruz also had to run against a field of 6. I agree, Trump should drop out if he fails to get 50 percent in NY, as he won't get a majority anywhere.

Trump ain't falling below 50% in New York.  Feel free to put my name under this with a dash and mock me relentlessly afterwards if I'm wrong.

And Cruz I'm sure is wishing he broke 50% in Texas (or that Texas were in April), would make the math a lot easier for him now.

Trump has never won an election in New York. Not winning a majority in a three-way race in a state that, while personally and culturally connected to, he has never actually cobbled together an electoral majority in before is absurd. That said, I hope he does win a majority, because eff Cruz.

How in the hell could he say that Trump needs to drop out if he fails to get 50 percent in New York if:

1. It is against two other main opponents
2. He still has a substantial lead over his opponents in both the popular vote and delegate count
3. Cruz HIMSELF failed to reach 50 percent in his home state

Won't it be likely that after New York, Cruz wouldn't be able to clinch the nomination with even 100% of the remaining pledged delegates?

Sanders should tell Clinton to drop out if she gets less than 50% in New York.

But there was also 5 candidates in the race (and a non-collapsed Marco Rubio) then and only three now. He would've gotten over 50% if the primary was now.

Cruz is awful in a way that's really kind of funny. If Trump wins like 10 of the next 12 states, Cruz will stand there with that stupid, arrogant grin and say something like, "We won Colorado's delegates! The tide has turned!"

The crack-smokin' phase of the elections has started then.

Just a reply to trump constantly telling Cruz and Kasich to drop out. The truth is, trump can win every delegate from New York and still not be on track to win the nomination.
