The idea that Ralph Nader is responsible for seat belts is based on the ridiculous notion that laws mandating them weren't inevitably going to happen anyway, and that auto manufacturers wouldn't install them in cars today even if they weren't mandatory. Which are both absurd.
How do you feel and LBJ and Civil Rights? because one can make this same argument against him.

He's right but Nader is POS, so back into the dustbin he goes.

16 years later and Democrats are still bitter about 2000, and still making the same gratingly entitled argument about it too. Nader had every right to run and those 2 million people who voted for him were under no obligation to vote for Gore, not even the 90,000 of them in FL. Votes belong to voters, not candidates.

Gore was a lousy candidate and would probably have been a lousy President. Not remotely sad that he lost

If Buchanan hadn't ran, Bush would have won Wisconsin, Iowa, New Mexico, and Oregon. Obviously he stole the election from Bush.

Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

Funnily, you could credit Robert McNamara for seatbelts just as much as you could credit Ralph Nader, though I doubt many people would want to.
