Sadly, he is polling well behind Michael Bennett? Sad

No. Glenn is a bad candidate and Trump isn't making life much easier for Colorado GOPers.

I don't consider it Safe D due to the possibility of a Trump recovery in the state. Very hard to imagine a Trump/Bennett voter. That being said, it would be a significant miracle if Bennett lost.

No. The more interesting question is whether he'd be able to primary Doug Lamborn in 2018.

Glenn is actually running behind Trump. That speaks volumes about how bad a candidate he is.

Even in 2014, a good candidate like Gardner won by only 2 points.

For a Republican to win in a solid blue state like Colorado, they need to be a good candidate running in a good environment.  Glenn is neither.

Glenn sucks, but Colorado is FAR from Safe D. More like Tilt D, in a neutral year.

I'll call it Likely D because anything can happen in Colorado, but it's pretty darn close to safe.

Rapidly trending Democratic state + Presidential year + horrid GOP candidate at top of the ticket for the state + bad candidate running a bad campaign = No not a shot
