Every time Donald Trump opens his mouth, he always makes vacuous gaffes that tremendously hurt him in the polls. In the past week, Trump has kept a rather low-profile and his poll numbers have boosted due to the fact that he hasn't made any huge gaffes.
Everytime Trump makes a media appearance, he's bound to make a gaffe, thus resulting in a decrease in polling numbers. I feel like if Trump just locked himself up in his penthouse, completely stopped campaigning, and refused to make any media appearances until the election is over, he'd lose by a smaller margin than if he continues to embarrass himself by actually campaigning lol.
1) not with the fundraising lead that Hillary has.
2) if Trump shrinks away, he loses. He's gotten to where he is by driving media cycles.
3) The media won't let Trump get away with this, like they did Hillary. I mean, she hasn't held a press conference in how long?
