Which state do you think is the currently the closest between Hillary and Donald?

I think it's close between Ohio and Arizona right now, but I'm gonna say Ohio. It seemed like Hillary was pulling ahead here, but polling today has indicated a very close race. It's possibly even leaning Trump, with a T+4 result and a tie.

Ohio has been a bellwether for a long time, although it seems to have clearly moved to the right of the nation as a whole. I've seen Youngstown Ohio called "the center of the Trump phenomenon", a place where many democrats have switched over to republican to vote for him. There's a lot of issues at play here, and I will be very interested to see how it ends up on the 8th.

I say Ohio, but 538's model seems to think it's Arizona.

Boy do I hope I'm wrong and they're right.

Arizona as of today. By election day, hopefully Texas or South Carolina. Maybe Missouri.

Iowa, actually. And that's funny because for a long time it seemed as if that would not be the case in this election.

Either Arizona or Iowa.  I'm gonna be an optimist and say Arizona.

It's even more of a tossup because it could go any one of three ways at this point. Come Election Day, I think that it will be a bit more clearly in favor of McMullin.

Arizona followed by Ohio, and then Iowa.

Arizona and Iowa. I'm actually thinking that the folks saying Iowa could vote to the right of Arizona this year might be on to something.
