Since we're on the topic of Ms Coulter I will make some remarks about my general ignorance of her political views. Around my area I generally hear more BS from Michael Moore than from Ann Coulter. Until more recently I didn't even know who Coulter was besides being a radical (Republican?) conservative. Most people don't like her for obvious reasons but glorify Moore.

Ann Coulter should have a duel with Michael Moore. She might still win, though. I don't know Moore's views on gun control. If Coulter is against gun control and Moore is for gun control, Coulter could always pull out some firearms and blow him up.

Could you bring up any view of Moore that you consider an extreme left one?

She is constitutional scholar with a J.D. from a respectable law school.

Maybe so, but it doesn't alter the fact she is rightwing nut. I can't even imagine you being serious about appointing Ann Coulter to SCOTUS

In fact, in every presidential election since 1950 - except Goldwater in '64 - the Republican would have won, if only the men had voted."

Wrong, Ann. In 1960 a majority of men voted for JFK, while a majority of women voted for Nixon.

Do you know where you can get these numbers?

He's no extremist. He's an annoying oversimplifier and occasional liar though, quite like not a few media people to his right.

Sorry.  Those two "individuals" are not worth the honor of even being mentioned as possible justices, even out of jest.

Probably not online, but here's a very interesting paper on the gender gap.

Ann Coulter is brilliant and has a wealth of insightful and intelligent views and writings to her credit.

But she has already ticked off half the country.

However, I'd love to be at that confirmation hearing where she gets into a verbal slinging match with the liberal Dems on the Judiciary Committee, when she verbally KO's Ted Kennedy in the second round.

Oh, I can see it now......

I don't expect everyone to appreciate her views and writings.

But she makes a lot of sense.

I said she makes a lot of sense.  I do not agree with everything she has said or written, and I do not agree with any extremist statements, whether from her or from anybody else, from any side of the spectrum.

Ann Coulter has, nonetheless, said and written many things that make a lot of sense to a lot of people.

Remember as well, one must be careful not to quote another out of context.
